Cranberry Cookies with Orange zest


Cranberry Cookies
  1. 80 grams of salted butter, softened
  2. 5 tbsp. of Gavia
  3. 1 egg
  4. 120 grams of plain flour
  5. 50 grams of cornstarch
  6. 60 grams of dried cranberries, soaked with orange juice for an hour, drained
  7. 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
  8. Zest of half orange
  1. Cream salted butter and Gavia until light and fluffy.
  2. Throw in half orange Zest.
  3. Add in egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine plain flour, cornstarch and drained cranberries.
  5. Form dough into a square log shape with plastic wrap and wooden mold, if have.
  6. Freeze the dough for 1 to 2 hours until hardened.
  7. Slice dough into 5 mm thickness.
  8. Bake it at preheated oven 180C for 15 to 20 minutes.
